I really enjoy djing in Second Life, and do my best to not be just a dj that shows up. I don't claim to have the best voice. I also am less of a 'club' type dj, and a little more radio like. What I am good about is blending good songs togather, playing things folks want to hear in a certain kind of genre, and connecting with folks that are in the audience.
Music wise, though I don't mind playing most types of music, I specialize in mixed music formats. You might hear me play some jazz, some love ballads, some top 40 tunes from the past, some classic disco or rock tunes all in the same set. I am good at themes, and work hard at a radio type mix that goes from a party atmosphere, to some songs to slow dance with someone special. These things are typical of my sessions. What I typically don't play though is hard rock/rap/punk/ska/techno type things, though if its someones birthday, I will even do that a little, but would require some help in the songs. As you can see, most of what I play is orchastrated stuff, not fluffy or non musical.
I am available for special events. Listed here are an FAQ for you..
Where will you DJ or not DJ at?
#1 - I do not play in strip clubs, or places that provide escort services. Doesn't mean you can't have a little fun, like a bachlor/bachlorette party atmosphere, nor does it have to be a PG SIM. Romance and fun, yes. But places that are just in the business of selling sex, no.
#2 - You cannot be actively competing against the Blue Fusion Jazz Club. Blue Fusion has been very kind to me, and I consider it my SL home. Nothing wrong with having another club, jazz or otherwise in SL. But Blue Fusion is my first priority. I won't play for folks whose sole priority is to drive others out of business.
What are your fees?
Parties - 1000L/hour(minimimum one hour set) No tips required. If you do not have a venue where a stream can be placed, I can provide that also if needed.
Club sets - 750L per hour, plus tips.
